ABF Logisticssm Recognizes Moving Service Suppliers at Annual Conference
• More than 150 participants from 38 states attend two-day event held in Dallas
FORT SMITH, Arkansas, October 21, 2015 — ABF Logisticssm, an ArcBest company (Nasdaq: ARCB), recently recognized seven moving service suppliers at its 2nd Annual ABF Logistics Supplier Conference, held in Dallas October 7-8.
“We felt it was important to recognize our moving partners who have provided exceptional services over the last year,” said Jason Turner, chief operating officer of ABF Logistics. “These valued relationships are important to our goal of providing a seamless experience to our customers.”
Moving service suppliers provide origin and destination services including packing, loading and unloading. Outstanding performers were recognized at an awards dinner and ceremony held on October 7 at the Marriott Solana Hotel in Westlake, Texas. Those receiving awards were:
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Overall: Coast to Coast Moving & Storage of Tampa, Florida
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Military Services: Stewart Moving & Storage of Midlothian, Virginia
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Military Origin Services: Aabco Moving & Storage of El Cajon, California
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Military Hauling Services: Executive Moving Systems Inc. of Woodbridge, Virginia
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Consumer Services: Move Help Made Easy of Scottsdale, Arizona
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Consumer Standard Services: Silverline Movers LLC of Atlanta
- Moving Supplier of the Year – Consumer Plus Services: Unlimited Moving Services of Lewisville, Texas
This year’s conference was opened to providers of ABF Logistics and its sister companies: ABF FreightSM, Panther Premium Logistics® and FleetNet America®. More than 150 participants traveled from 38 states and two Canadian provinces to attend the event, which focused on providing opportunities for capacity partners to collaborate on future business opportunities and recognizing the top network performers for service excellence.
The two-day event included a VIP guided tour of AT&T Cowboys Stadium and an opportunity for team introductions and breakout sessions at one of ABF Logistics’ offices located in Wichita Falls, Texas.
