U-Pack Service Consultants Help Ease Cross-Country Moves

Moving can be stressful, especially if it’s a cross-country move. At U-Pack, employees work to ease customers’ anxiety by building a rapport with them.

Erica Davis boasts those skills and then some. As a service consultant for U-Pack, she regularly works to ease concerns and answer questions for customers dealing with a move

One customer moving from Alabama to California was very anxious about an upcoming move. As the customer asked questions, Erica went beyond explaining the mechanics of the service and tailored her answers to the customer, even pointing out characteristics about life in California to which the customer could look forward.

As the move date approached, she communicated with the customer frequently via email, refining the move plan as needed and working to quell any worries. Erica was “wonderful, generous and patient,” the customer said.

Once the move was complete, the customer sent Erica a token of appreciation, telling her she was “one of the good parts of our crazy move out West.”

Erica considers building trust with the customers while they’re experiencing a life-changing move just a part of a day’s work at U-Pack. Her will is part of what makes U-Pack stand out from the competition.
