FAQs
What type of truck insurance do I need and how much does it cost?
We require physical damage and proof of $1 million laden non-trucking liability OR physical damage and laden non-trucking liability insurance through Panther (5.5% FMV / 52 = cost per week) + $45.00 per week non-trucking liability + $10.00 per week for liability limiter.
What about occupational accident insurance?
We require proof of worker’s compensation/occupational accident insurance OR you may purchase at orientation for $35.70 weekly per driver.
How do I get the permits I need?
All annual permits are free and included in your binder when you complete orientation.
Does Panther supply toll passes? Will I be reimbursed if I pay for tolls myself?
Assistance is reimbursed after load completion with weekly settlements. Reimbursement is paid at the reduced rate of the toll passes. Panther does not supply toll passes.
All drivers and vehicle owners are independent contractors. Actual truck lease is with Expediter Services. ArcBest Dedicated, LLC is a licensed property broker. Operational lease signed with Panther II Transportation, Inc., a licensed motor carrier.
