ABF Global expands reach to South America

ABF Global^SM is deepening its international presence with ocean transportation services in South America. An operating division of ABF Logistics^SM, an ArcBest company, ABF Global is expanding its Supply Chain Services to Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay.  These South American countries will now have access to ABF Global Supply Chain Solutions, which feature single point of contact, full-container-load (FCL) or less-than-container-load (LCL) shipping.

"With an established presence in Europe, China, India and Southeast Asia countries, South America is a natural extension of our global coverage," said Carlos Martinez-Tomatis, ABF GSCS division vice president. "ABF Global now covers nearly 90 percent of the total ocean international market to and from the United States.

ABF Global’s FCL transport solutions offer convenient and economical ocean transport with end-to-end visibility. And because it controls dedicated space on ships providing frequent service from and to all major worldwide ports, ABF Global is able to secure single-contact, expedited LCL/LTL solutions for customers who have international manufacturing centers or suppliers.
