America's Road Team - 2003-2004 - Garland Woods

Drive for ArcBest
by Lindsey Kennedy

"Being on the America's Road Team will allow me to reach many more people with our message of safety and security for the trucking industry," stated Garland Woods, a city driver for the Tulsa service center. "I am very honored and proud to work in an industry that is responsible for moving the majority of the freight and products that keep this great country of ours working."

He plans to use his ability to speak openly, frankly and always courteously with other people to promote the professional drivers and interests of the trucking industry.

Garland has fifteen years of accident- and injury-free driving, earning ABF’s Bronze Award for 15,000 hours driven without an accident.

Mr. Woods and his daughter, live in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He enjoys fishing, weightlifting and coaching his daughter’s basketball team.
