Across our Philanthropy Pillars — Community, Education and People — we’re helping fulfill our mission by giving back to the causes our people care about, are impacted by or are involved in. Because we know that when the places where our people live, learn and work thrive, ArcBest thrives.

We’re committed to doing our part to build happier and healthier communities, and we encourage and empower our people to get involved. We also support area developments that further economic growth and provide relief and critical resources when natural disasters occur.

Providing employees opportunities for growth and investing in local education 

We “grow our people and our business” is ingrained in our culture. Through several programs and partnerships, we’re investing in our people and in local and higher education to help strengthen the current and future workforce.   

Educational Assistance Program  

ArcBest reimburses a percentage of the costs associated with higher education to help financially support full-time employees pursuing a degree.  

Educational Match Program  

To help enhance higher education, ArcBest matches employee donations from $100 up to $5,000 to any primary, secondary, two- and four-year college or university.  

Employee Dependent Scholarship Program  

To assist dependents of employees who plan to continue their education, ArcBest established a scholarship program, in partnership with Scholarship America®.   

Partners in Education Programs  

Through Partners in Education, we devote time to students through in-person mentoring and STEM activities like Girls Who Code.  

PEAK Innovation Center  

ArcBest invested $1 million in the Peak Innovation Center — a state-of-the-art education center that delivers cutting-edge, technical and career training to high school students.
