Improving the Phone Experience

We’ve made it easier to reach the right support team when you call. Our updated phone experience is thoughtfully designed to get you where you need to go quickly. By simplifying menu options and reducing recorded messaging from four minutes to just two, we’ve created a smoother, more intuitive experience. The result is navigation that’s 30% faster.

Proactive Weather Notifications

When weather impacts our operations, we send updates via email with updates on a shipment’s location and expected delivery. Customers can also opt in to receive weather notifications from every ABF service center a shipment passes through along the way. This means earlier notice and clearer visibility into potential freight disruptions.

Using AI to Improve Efficiency

We’re using AI to reduce manual steps in quoting, document processing and shipment booking to limit delays and keep freight moving. We’re also using it to match truckload shipments with available capacity faster, so that your loads are covered sooner. In 2025, more than 23,000 carriers used our AI phone agent to quickly find freight and keep it moving.
