For the second consecutive year, ArcBest has been recognized by Forbes as being a top employer with a desirable work experience, ranking No. 5 in the state of Arkansas on the America’s Best-In-State Employers 2021 list. Most recently, Forbes also named ArcBest to its 2021, 2020 and 2019 lists of the Best Employers for Diversity and its 2021 list of America’s Best Large Employers. 

Forbes produced the Best-In-State Employers list with its market research partner, Statista. They identified top employers through an independent survey based on a sample of approximately 80,000 workers at companies in the United States with at least 500 employees. The final list ranks the 1,329 employers that received the most recommendations in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The length of each state’s list varies by workforce size and the number of qualifying employees — the Arkansas list consists of 25 top employers.

In the survey, respondents were polled on a variety of criteria, including the safety of their work environment, the competitiveness of their compensation, advancement opportunities and openness to telecommuting. They were also asked how likely they would be to recommend their employer to others and to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively.
