Giving at ArcBest is rooted in our commitment to our philanthropic pillars, Community, Education and People. Leaning into these, our people made a difference through:
Serving communities
United Way of Fort Smith Area: Helped launch and lead the annual United Way 2026 campaign, receiving over 375 pledges totaling more than $411,000 with the company match.
Isaiah Joe Basketball Camp: Sponsored the Isaiah Joe Basketball Camp alongside the Fort Kids Children’s Museum, teaching children teamwork, leadership and confidence.
Advancing education
Fill the Bus: Collected essential school supplies for the annual United Way of Fort Smith Area Fill the Bus campaign for over 30 school districts in six counties.
Union Christian Academy ImpactU: Contributed to the ImpactU sponsorship program for the areas of greatest need within the school.
Community School of the Arts: Sponsored the school’s high school performance of Sister Act, marking our ninth year donating to CSA.
Supporting People
Breakthrough T1D: ArcBest’s 2024 Leadership Academy graduates held several fundraisers for Breakthrough T1D, including a “Soak the Suits” event, food and treat sales and a Razorback football ticket raffle.
Tunnel to Towers 5K: Members of our VERG ERG joined the Tunnel to Towers 5K in Medina, OH, honoring the life of 9/11 firefighter Stephen Siller and benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
2025 MJ’s Stampede: ArcBest employees ran in the 2025 MJ’s Stampede 5K/10K race for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Employee Events
Over the last couple of months, our people took time to pause, connect and commemorate their individual growth and the collective spirit that defines our values-driven culture. They embraced collaboration and wellness, reflecting on what we’ve built together and the values that continue to guide us.
Internal Department & Networking Fair: Departments from across the company highlighted their team priorities and projects and shared insights about available career paths.
Step into Summer Step Challenge: Employees took over 276 million steps during our summer step challenge, encouraging wellness and movement throughout the workday.
ERG Events: Our ERGs hosted several events dedicated to fostering growth and collaboration, including trivia nights, wellness walks and a seminar focused on avoiding burnout in and outside of the workplace.
National Intern Day: We celebrated our interns’ hard work and enthusiasm for the trucking industry during a leadership panel and dirty soda bar event at our Fort Smith headquarters.
ArcBest Technologies Burger Burn: For the 35th year, our Burger Burn event celebrated a year of hard work with food, games and community.
