“We grow our business” is woven into ArcBest’s values-driven culture, and in 2021, we reached record-breaking financial milestones, including the highest annual revenue in our company’s history at $4 billion. This significant growth landed us on the Transport Topics Top 100 Logistics list, which ranks the 100 largest logistics companies in North America based on annual gross revenue and identifies companies that are thriving at solving the world’s transportation challenges — ArcBest ranked number 34.
While 2021 was another challenging year for supply chains, we remained committed to our strategic vision, which has positioned us well for long-term growth. Through focusing on customers, empowering our employees, investing in leading-edge technology and expanding capacity options, ArcBest continues to grow and lead the way as an integrated logistics company with our own assets, a network of over 80,000 capacity providers and the ability to serve customers across modes without switching service providers.
From a local Arkansas freight hauler in 1923 to a publicly traded, global $4 billion logistics company today, ArcBest is making great progress with no intentions of slowing down.
“Our growth strategy is grounded in our deep customer relationships, employees who continuously navigate ongoing changes in the market, strategic investments in technology, and providing customers with the right solutions and capacity at the right time. As we expand our ability to serve customers well, we benefit from higher revenues, improved profitability and more sustainable, long-term growth.” – Judy R. McReynolds, ArcBest chairman, president and CEO.
Transport Topics is a news leader in trucking and freight transportation. For the first time this year, Transport Topics doubled the size of its annual Top 50 ranking since 2002 to the Top 100 as a result of growth in the 3PL industry. The Top 100 list ranks companies that provide logistics services such as freight brokerage, freight forwarding, warehousing and dedicated contract carriers on the basis of annual gross revenue. The list was produced in collaboration with industry research and consulting firm Armstrong & Associates.
