ArcBest Corporation wins HR award

ArcBest Corporation^SM has won Honorable Mention in the Best Health/Fitness category in Ragan’s 2013 Employee Communications Awards. Ragan Communications is a leading publisher of corporate communications, public relations and leadership development newsletters. Competing against hundreds of other entries, ArcBest and healthcare management firm Hines & Associates were named for the communications behind the ArcBest Choice Benefits Wellness Program.

ArcBest is an innovator in the health and wellness space. It recently opened a primary care clinic to serve its employees and their dependent family members, at an off-site location less than a mile from the company’s Fort Smith, Ark., headquarters. Administered by IMWell Health, the clinic will provide health care to employees of ArcBest and its subsidiaries cover by its Choice Benefits plan.
