Investing in our people
ArcBest has been named a 2025 Training APEX Award winner, ranking No. 12 on the list of 95 companies. The award, presented by Training magazine, honors organizations that demonstrate excellence in their training programs, and it highlights ArcBest’s commitment to learning, growth and professional development. This is the 16th time ArcBest has ranked on the list and our 11th time to place in the top 20. Winners were announced during the Training 2025 Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida, on February 17.
“Our Growth core value encourages our people to be lifelong learners and creative problem solvers, which empowers us to consistently serve our customers with excellence,” said Erin Gattis, ArcBest chief human resources officer. “Our Learning and Development team aligns training initiatives with business strategies and goals, ensuring our people have the knowledge and resources to confidently do their jobs. This award is a testament to ArcBest’s commitment to investing in our people and to the outstanding work our team does every day.”
The 25th annual APEX Awards ranking is determined by a wide range of qualitative and quantitative factors including investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, how closely development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives, and their effectiveness in terms of behavior change and business impact.
