Moments that mattered
At ArcBest, service goes far beyond the freight we move. In the second quarter of 2025, our people again showed what it means to lead with heart — giving their time, talents and resources to support causes they care about. From volunteering in local communities to connecting through employee events, this quarter was filled with moments that reflect who we are. Here’s a look at how our team made an impact.
Philanthropy and volunteerism
Community. Education. People. These are the pillars of ArcBest’s philanthropic efforts, and this quarter, they came to life in meaningful ways.
Serving communities
- Day of Caring: 115 ArcBest employees joined the United Way of Fort Smith Area’s 32nd annual event, completing over 100 community projects — from meal prep to landscaping — and earning recognition as the organization with the most volunteers.

- Supporting Local Causes: We contributed to the Junior League of Fort Smith’s Derby Spring fundraiser, the Good Samaritan Clinic’s Best Night of the Year, and the groundbreaking of the new Scott Sebastian County Regional Library.

- True Grit Ride and 5K: As Marshal Sponsor, we supported the Community Services Clearinghouse in their mission to alleviate local hunger and showed up in full force — embracing our core value, Wellness, by participating in the 5K and bike ride. ArcBest volunteers also handed out breakfast snacks, drinks and ArcBest swag.

- Cookouts for a Cause: Our Fort Smith campuses hosted Memorial Day cookouts benefiting United Way of Fort Smith Area, with our United Way committee members firing up the grills and employees enjoying time together outdoors.

“I am proud to work for a company that’s all about good vibes at work and giving back to the community. I love that ArcBest has amazing community partners like United Way that are equally as passionate about making Fort Smith an even better place to live.” - Jackie Sette, manager of tech employee experience.
- Fighting Hunger: We joined the Arvest Million Meals Campaign, helping provide over 3 million meals to neighbors in need.
