ABF Freight Driver Named Wyoming Driver of the Year

The Wyoming Trucking Association has chosen an ABF Freight road driver as the Wyoming Driver of the Year.

John Dill, an ABF Freight road driver based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, was named Driver of the Year during the Wyoming Trucking Association’s 2017 Convention May 17-19 in Casper, Wyoming.

“I’m proud of John,” said ABF Freight President Tim Thorne. “His leadership, his excellent driving record and his commitment to safety set a high bar.”

Dill has been a professional driver for 34 years, the last 12 with ABF Freight. He has earned recognition as a member of the 2016-2017 ABF Freight Road Team. He has received the 1 Million Mile Safe Driving Award, 34-Year Safe Driving Patch and 10-Year Safety Performance Plaque as well as annual safety awards. At the Wyoming State Truck Driving Championships, he has earned Highest Personal Interview score, Highest Pretrip score, Highest Written Score and a Team Trophy as well as two first-place finishes.
