ArcBest LTL carrier ABF Freight won the Arkansas Trucking Association’s 2023 Corporate Fleet Safety Award in the LTL large carrier division, recognizing the company as one of the safest fleets operating across the state.  

ArcBest LTL carrier ABF Freight received a 2024 Fleet Safety Award from the Virginia Trucking Association (VTA), recognizing companies with the lowest 2023 Virginia accident frequency rate in their competition class. The VTA also awarded ABF a Fleet Safety Certificate for achieving an improved safety record over the previous year.   

ArcBest’s LTL carrier ABF Freight ranked No. 8 on the Journal of Commerce 2023 Top 40 US and Canadian LTL Carriers list, highlighting the percentage of change in revenue between 2023 and 2022.

ArcBest ranked No. 40 on the Transport Topics Top 100 Logistics list and No. 14 on the Top Freight Brokerage Firms list, based on annual gross revenue and types of freight handled.

ArcBest’s LTL carrier ABF Freight received a Great West Safety award for outstanding achievement in highway safety in the Intercity 1.5 to 3 million miles category. The award was presented by the West Virginia Trucking Association and Great West Casualty Company in cooperation with the American Trucking Associations.

ArcBest received the Matt Waller Innovation Award from the University of Arkansas and Plug and Play Tech Center, recognizing Arkansas-based companies pushing supply chain boundaries. The award, in its second year, honors ArcBest’s commitment to innovation through initiatives like Vaux™ and our ongoing partnership with Plug and Play and the Supply Chain Management Research Center.  

ArcBest’s LTL carrier, ABF Freight^®, our ground expedite fleet, Panther Premium Logistics^® and our truckload service, MoLo® were named to project44’s 2024 Preferred Carriers list as gold tier carriers — ABF in the LTL category and Panther and MoLo in the truckload category. The list recognizes top performers that demonstrate excellence in connectivity, fidelity and milestone completeness. Carriers included in the program were evaluated based on shipment volume, data availability and the quality of data provided.   

ArcBest’s LTL carrier ABF Freight was awarded the American Trucking Associations’ prestigious 2023 Excellence in Security Award. ABF is the only LTL carrier to win this award ten times, demonstrating our position as an industry leader, setting the standard for trucking security with superior ability to protect our employees, property, equipment and our customers’ goods. 

ABF Freight was named the InXpress National Carrier of the Year and American Group’s 2023 Partner Carrier of the Year and 2023 Volume Carrier of the Year. These awards demonstrate ABF’s commitment to providing excellent customer service through on-time pickups, claims percentages, communication and more.  

ArcBest’s LTL carrier ABF Freight^® was named TQL’s 2024 LTL Carrier of the Year, reflecting ABF’s commitment to service excellence.  

ArcBest’s LTL carrier ABF Freight^® was selected as Coyote Logistics’ 2023 LTL Carrier of the Year, and our ground expedite fleet, Panther Premium Logistics^®, was selected as the Outstanding Final Mile and Expedite Carrier. These Carrier of the Year awards highlight companies providing top-tier service and maintaining clear and consistent communication. 

ArcBest was recognized as one of The Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies by Financial Times and Statista, ranking No. 423 out of 500. This award highlights companies that achieved a high revenue growth rate between 2019 and 2022.

ArcBest was honored as a 2024 VETS Indexes 4 Star Employer, recognizing our commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing and supporting veterans and the military-connected community. The in-depth VETS Indexes survey analyzed employers’ policies, practices and outcomes across five categories (recruiting and hiring; development and retention; inclusive policies and culture; member support for the National Guard and Reserves; and military spouse/family support).

ArcBest truckload service, MoLo^®, has won a 2024 Early Talent Award by Handshake, celebrating the best employers for people to launch meaningful careers. MoLo was recognized for its flexible work environment, shadowing opportunities and structured mentorship.
