Judy R. McReynolds
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Judy R. McReynolds is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of ArcBest®. Under her visionary leadership, ArcBest has evolved into a multibillion-dollar integrated logistics company — leading the way with cutting-edge technology and customized solutions that help keep the global supply chain moving.

Judy guides ArcBest with over 30 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 25 years with the company. In 2010, she was named ArcBest president and CEO, then in 2016, she was elected as Chairman of the Board of ArcBest Corporation. Judy is the only member of the company’s senior management who serves on the board.

Building on our nearly 100-year legacy, Judy has been the driving force behind diversifying ArcBest into a logistics powerhouse with a full suite of logistics solutions that meet customers’ supply chain needs. Her experience, combined with her commitment to serving customers well, providing the best atmosphere for our employees and conducting business in a way that helps build a safer, more sustainable company and world has made us a leader in the logistics industry and a pillar in the communities where we operate.

Judy serves on numerous outside boards including OGE Energy Corp. where she is lead director, First Bank Corp. and First National Bank of Fort Smith. She serves on the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation board. She is current chair of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) board, and a member of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Board of Directors and Executive Committee. A Certified Public Accountant, Judy holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma.

Dennis Anderson
Dennis L. Anderson II
Chief Customer Officer

Dennis L. Anderson II is the Chief Customer Officer at ArcBest®. With over 20 years of experience in logistics, he leads the company’s customer engagement efforts and growth strategy, with a laser-focus on making it easier for customers to do business. Dennis guides the teams responsible for customer solutions, customer experience, strategy, sales and marketing — helping ensure customers have a consistently exceptional experience, however they choose to do business with ArcBest. He’s the catalyst behind the company’s commitment to listening, seeing the world through the customers’ eyes, and thoughtfully analyzing how processes, services and technologies impact their experiences.

In the area of strategy, Dennis has played a leadership role in every acquisition and divestiture at ArcBest during the past decade. This includes the company’s acquisition of MoLo Solutions in 2021, which nearly doubled the size of ArcBest’s capacity base and expanded the company’s ability to serve customers well. In 2017, he was involved in the restructuring of ArcBest to an integrated logistics company with a full suite of shipping and logistics solutions, reorganizing the company around customer needs.   

Dennis was named Chief Customer Officer in April 2020 after previously serving as Chief Customer Experience Officer from January 2017 to April 2020 and as Vice President of Strategy from February 2014 to December 2016. Prior to that, he served as ArcBest Director of Strategic Planning and held positions as Pricing Manager and Pricing Analyst at ABF Freight®. He joined the company in 2003 after beginning his career at Walmart Logistics, a division of Walmart Stores Inc. Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Laura Bogner
Vice President - Internal Audit

Laura Bogner was named Vice President­ – Internal Audit for ArcBest Corporation® in January 2017. In this role, Laura manages all Internal Audit functions, including oversight of financial and operational audits, internal control testing required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and administration of the Enterprise Risk Management function.

She previously served as Director of Internal Audit from May 2011 to December 2016. Laura joined ArcBest® in March 2000 as Internal Audit Supervisor and was promoted to Internal Audit Manager in May 2004. Prior to joining ArcBest, Laura spent five years at the public accounting firm of BKD, LLP working predominantly in the audit practice.

Laura is a Certified Public Accountant and a summa cum laude graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

David R. Cobb
Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

David R. Cobb was named Chief Financial Officer of ArcBest Corporation® effective January 2015.

In 2006, David became Vice President – Controller at ArcBest®, and in 2010, his role was expanded to include the duties of Chief Accounting Officer. He served in those roles through the end of 2014. He has a wealth of experience, having worked with multinational and publicly traded corporations to startup operations in a vast range of business environments, including earnings-sensitive, fast-growth and acquisition integrations.

Before joining ArcBest in 2006, he was Vice President and Corporate Controller for a publicly traded, international oilfield service company. He also spent seven years with the public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston. 

David is a Certified Public Accountant in Arkansas and Texas and a summa cum laude graduate of Abilene Christian University. Outside of work, he is active in church and mission-related activities, and is a former Director for the Arkansas Best Federal Credit Union.

Erin K. Gattis
Chief Human Resources Officer

Erin Gattis is the Chief Human Resources Officer of ArcBest®. With over 20 years of experience, she is leading the way in creating an exceptional workplace where logistics professionals with diverse experiences and perspectives can grow and make a lasting impact. Erin boldly guides the teams responsible for the company’s award-winning training and succession planning programs, talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits and compensation and executive compensation for ArcBest Corporation®. She also champions the company’s wellness programs for a healthier workforce and is one of the drivers behind ArcBest’s Environmental, Social and Governance efforts — including the critical work of implementing a strategic DEI roadmap — building a more inclusive workplace for all. Various corporate governance responsibilities also fall under her domain.

Under Erin’s leadership, the people at ArcBest have an opportunity to achieve tremendous growth, and the company’s customers, partners and other stakeholders benefit. Erin was named ArcBest Chief Human Resources Officer in July 2016. Previously, she served as Vice President of Human Resources and as the company’s Chief of Staff to ArcBest President and CEO Judy McReynolds. She began her career at ArcBest in 1999 in the Human Resources Department.

Erin holds HRCI Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications, the senior-most human resources certifications for those who have demonstrated a strategic mastery of the HR body of knowledge and practical experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University.

Cheryl Harper
Vice President - Tax

Cheryl Harper was named Vice President­ – Tax for ArcBest Corporation® in January 2017.

She previously served as Director of Corporate Tax from August 2015 to December 2016. Cheryl joined ArcBest® in 2010 as Manager of Tax. She was promoted to Senior Manager of Tax in 2014.

Previously, Cheryl was an associate attorney at the law firm of Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon, and Galchus, P.C. in Fort Smith.

She has a Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver.

Cheryl currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Tax Policy Committee of the American Trucking Associations.

David Humphrey
Vice President – Investor Relations

David Humphrey is Vice President – Investor Relations; he has been with ArcBest Corporation® for over 35 years and is one of the longest-tenured IR executives in the transportation industry.

He began his career with ArcBest® in the company’s Economic Analysis Department in 1983, holding various positions there until 1993 when he began work for an ArcBest subsidiary that was subsequently sold. He moved to Investor Relations in 1998.
David has philanthropic ties to his community and is involved with organizations that include Economics Arkansas, an educational foundation that trains K-12 teachers on how to integrate principles of economics and personal finance into classroom curriculum; the local chapter of Girls Inc., a national organization dedicated to empowering girls through afterschool programs; the Fort Smith Public Schools Foundation and the University of Arkansas – Dean’s Advisory Council of the College of Engineering. 
As co-chair of his church’s recent capital funds campaign, he helped raise more than $650,000 for repairs and maintenance of the church facilities. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Barry Hunter
Vice President - Financial Services and Risk Management

Barry Hunter was named Vice President­ – Financial Services and Risk Management for ArcBest Corporation® in January 2017.

He previously had served as Vice President of Administration and Treasurer for ArcBest® company ABF Freight from 2007 until December 2016. Barry began his career with ABF Freight as a Pricing Analyst in 1987. He was promoted to Senior Pricing Analyst in 1989 and became Pricing Manager in 1992. He then served as Director of Traffic Services from 2002 to 2007.

Barry has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Kansas State University.

James A. Ingram
Chief Operating Officer, Asset-Light Logistics

James A. Ingram was named Chief Operating Officer, Asset-Light Logistics for ArcBest Corporation® in January 2017.

He previously served as President of ArcBest® company ABF Logistics® from August 2013 to December 2016. Previously, he was Senior Vice President–Strategy at ArcBest from November 2011 through January 2014, Vice President–Strategic Development from April 2010 through October 2011, and Vice President–Market Development from January 2008 to April 2010.

He has served in multiple positions at ArcBest company ABF Freight®, including Vice President–Market Development and Director–Quotation Services. In 1990, he started his career in ABF Freight’s Pricing Department, where he worked as an Analyst, Senior Analyst and Pricing Manager. 

Jim holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas.

Michael R. Johns
Vice President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Michael R. Johns joined ArcBest Corporation® in 2007 as Vice President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Throughout ArcBest’s evolution into a holistic logistics and transportation provider, Michael has directed the legal team supporting various mergers, such as ArcBest’s 2012 purchases of subsidiaries Panther Premium Logistics® and Albert Companies Inc., a household-goods moving company.

Michael also handles the company’s government relations, provides legal counsel to the ArcBest Board of Directors and played an important role in ArcBest’s labor negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.  

Prior to joining ArcBest®, MIchael had a 24-year career in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he was a partner at the law firm of Dover Dixon Horne PLLC. He holds an AV Rating, the highest ranking a lawyer can earn, from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading independent attorney rating firm, and has served as Chair of the Commercial Law Section of the Arkansas Bar Association.

He earned a J.D. from Southern Methodist University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas. A Certified Public Accountant, Michael is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Arkansas Bar Association.

Danny Loe
Danny Loe
President, Asset-Light Logistics and Chief Yield Officer

Daniel E. Loe was named President, Asset-Light Logistics in September 2020 and Chief Yield Officer for ArcBest Corporation® in January 2017.

He previously served as Vice President – Enterprise Solutions from May 2014 to December 2016. Danny joined the company in 1997 as an associate pricing analyst for ArcBest® company ABF Freight®, and held a number of increasingly senior positions in the ABF Freight pricing department. He also served as Director of Marketing & Public Relations for ABF Freight for six years prior to assuming the role of Vice President – Yield Management for ABF Freight in 2010.

Danny holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Steven Leonard
Chief Sales and Customer Engagement Officer

Steven Leonard is the Chief Sales and Customer Engagement Officer at ArcBest®. With over 20 years of experience in logistics and a focus on customer success, he leads the company’s sales and customer solutions teams — coordinating and aligning the ArcBest sales and customer support initiatives to ensure we consistently meet our customers’ rapidly changing needs. Steven served as one of the driving forces behind the company’s coordinated efforts in 2020 to better align sales and marketing operations, utilizing data, analytics and improved processes to make better decisions, with the goal of identifying customer needs and continuously meeting and exceeding their expectations.

In 2005, Steven led the redevelopment of ArcBest’s time-critical business, which allowed the company to focus on customers’ immediate needs. This transformative initiative helped grow time-critical business by more than 400 percent and set in motion the company’s ability to meet a variety of customer needs that still exist today.  

Steven was named Chief Sales and Customer Engagement Officer in April 2020 after previously serving as Vice President of Customer Solutions from January 2017 to April 2020 and as Vice President – Global Forwarding for Panther Premium Logistics®, a service of ArcBest, from November 2014 to December 2016. Steven joined the company in 2001 as a quotation analyst for U-Pack®, an ArcBest brand, and in his tenure with the company has held positions that include Manager of Quotation Services, Manager of TimeKeeper Pricing, Director of Strategic Planning and Divisional Vice President.  

Steven holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas.

Michael E. Newcity
Senior Vice President - Chief Innovation Officer

Michael E. Newcity was named Senior Vice President - Chief Innovation Officer of ArcBest Corporation® and President of ArcBest Technologies, a subsidiary of ArcBest®, effective January 2015.

During his 20-plus year tenure with ArcBest, Michael has led and progressed several strategic, cross-functional initiatives focused on enterprise-wide advancements in business intelligence, e-commerce, market research, and strategy management. The company has been recognized for information technology work under Newcity's direction in a number of publications, including CIO and Information Week.

Michael began his career with Data-Tronics Corp. (now ArcBest Technologies) in 1993. He also served as Manager of E-Systems & Market Development and Manager of E-Commerce at ABF Freight® and Director of E-Systems & Emerging Technologies and Director of Economic Analysis at ArcBest Corporation. He was named ArcBest’s Chief Financial Officer in 2010, and in August 2013, his responsibilities were expanded to oversee corporate information technology and economic analysis as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He served as ArcBest CFO and CIO through the end of 2014.

Michael serves on several boards, including Student Mobilization, a non-profit collegiate organization, the Mercy Health Foundation and the Dean’s Leadership Council for the College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith.

He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from the University of Arkansas, which awarded him the Senior Honor Citation, the university’s top undergraduate honor. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Walton College at the University of Arkansas and received the Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup for promoting entrepreneurship.

Donald W. Pearson
Vice President – Treasurer

Donald W. Pearson is Vice President – Treasurer of ArcBest Corporation®, a role he assumed in 2010. He handles all debt financing for ArcBest®, including acquisition debt, equipment financing, lines of credit and letters of credit. He also manages fiduciary responsibilities for the company’s cash and investment activities.

Nearly a 30-year veteran of ArcBest, Donald got his start in Corporate Accounting, where he served in various capacities for a decade. In 1996 he was promoted to Director of Cash Management, a position he held through 2009. Donald is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional since 1999. He scored so well on the CTP exam that he was asked by the Association for Financial Professionals to join the Item Writer’s Task Force, assisting with future exam creation. AFP also invited him to be on its Treasury Policies Oversight Task Force and to be a contributor to the AFP Manual of Treasury Policies.

Donald is a graduate of the University of Arkansas; he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. 

Traci L. Sowersby
Vice President - Controller, Chief Accounting Officer

Traci L. Sowersby joined ArcBest Corporation® in April 2015 as Vice President — Controller, Chief Accounting Officer.

She is the principal accounting officer for ArcBest®, providing technical accounting, internal controls and financial reporting expertise. Prior to joining ArcBest, Traci had a 17-year career with the public accounting firm of EY, where she recently served as an Executive Director in EY’s Phoenix office and previously held progressive positions within EY in other various locations.

A Certified Public Accountant, Traci holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University-Purdue University of Fort Wayne. She is also proud to have served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Jason Turner
Vice President — Talent and Growth Initiatives

Jason Turner was named Vice President — Talent and Growth Initiatives for ArcBest Corporation®in July 2016.

He previously had served as Chief Operating Officer of ABF Logistics®, an ArcBest® company, from January 2015 to July 2016. He was President of the Albert Companies, an ArcBest subsidiary, since 2009 where he led Albert’s moving and storage brands that serve customers in the consumer, corporate account and government segments. Before joining ArcBest, he held several leadership positions with POCO Graphite Inc., leading numerous quality and change management initiatives.

Jason has served on several trade association boards and committees and with nonprofit organizations.

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in business administration from North Texas University.
